We spent some time travelling around the world and this confirmed our view that Devon and Cornwall are beautiful locations that we wanted to explore further.
We bought our first retreat, The Stables, in 2001 and were taken by its individual character and idyllic farm setting. We loved the beautiful coastal walks and rugged beaches hidden away off the beaten track. Since then, and 2 children later, North Devon is still amazing us with its stunning landscapes and gorgeous sandy beaches.
In 2009 we found the Porth Beach Retreat and again we know that we have found a gem. A unique stylish apartment set in an ideal location from which to enjoy the true delights of Cornwall. There are so few places around which are literally on the beach and also close to town.
